We have just finalised arrangements with a new guesthouse for our Tuscany workshops.

The guesthouse is Casa Cordati and is a restored XVII century palace in the Old Town section of Barga. The guesthouse is perfect for small groups of specialist tours who have an interest in the arts and has been described as “staying in an art gallery”. During your stay, you can visit the beautiful and exciting exhibition of the local artist Bruno Cordati. There are seven rooms on the first floor with more than one hundred works ranging from the 1920s to the 1970s. In the hall, there are postcards and pictures of his works.

Casa Cordati also features a beautiful Concert Room which is frequently used by musicians and artists as a place to rehearse and hold classes. This makes it an ideal space for us to utilise for evening discussions and post-processing lessons and demonstrations.

Being located right in the heart of the old town, you are never more than a few steps away from bars, restaurants, cafes. Every corner you turn presents you with new photographic opportunities. Old cobbled and narrow Tuscan streets lead your eye through to the mountain views and Serchio river valley beyond.

We have communicated frequently over the festive period with the owner of the guesthouse, and we are delighted to have secured bookings for our workshops in the summer and autumn of this year. As usual, we will be keeping the numbers low to ensure a more personal approach to our tuition and only have six places available on each workshop. This allows us to maintain an unrivalled ratio of one instructor to three students which we will provide throughout each day of your entire Tuscany workshop, offering you our guidance, coaching and opinions.

Please have a look at the details of the Tuscany workshop and book early if you’d like to secure your place.
