Description
This Photoshop for Photographers guide will deal with the features found in Adobe Photoshop CC 2018, although many of the features can also be found in earlier versions.
This Photoshop for Photographers guide assumes that you have a working knowledge of your computer and its operating system. You should be able to open, close and save files. You should also be able to navigate your way about the file structure on your computer and know how to find files.
This manual is purely for reference purposes and is not designed to be used as a learning tool. It will help to step you through the process of using some of the tools that are relevant to photographers. It is designed to accompany our Photoshop for Photographers training course but I’m sure anyone will find it a useful guide.
Chapters include:-
- Editing raw files;
- The Photoshop Workspace;
- Adjusting image and colour settings;
- Using Layers;
- Improving exposure;
- Using Adjustment Layers;
- Layer Masks;
- Making selections;
- Sharpening and noise reduction;
- Retouching techniques.
You should have already installed Adobe Photoshop onto your computer. You are not required to have a good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. You can download a trial version of Adobe Photoshop here.
