Calling all photography enthusiasts who would like to learn more about the magical art of ‘Light Painting’ Photography. This is truly one of the most creative photography techniques out there and this Workshop is designed not only to blow your mind, but also to allow any level of photographer to easily grasp the concept of how to make the work.
All skill levels are welcome.
I’ll be bringing along my DSLR camera and tripod to document proceedings – you’re welcome to also bring along your own gear, but please understand that if there are more than 4/5 of us there will not be enough room for all the tripods to be set up in the studio at once. You’ll need to bring along the following:
– DSLR Camera / or equivalent (with Bulb mode for long expos)
– Cable release (for starting / stopping the expos)
I’ll be teaching you all about camera set-up, introducing you to a few of the incredible tools that I use to make the work, as well as providing physical demonstrations on how the light paintings are created in real time. Here’s a list of some of the tools I’ll be bringing along with me:
– Glow Sticks
– Light Sabers
– A range of torches
– The amazing Pixelstick
– The new ‘Magilight’
The Workshops are designed to be a huge amount of fun and are easy to follow. Please also bring along notepad and pen for any notes you wish to take. I’ll provide handouts on the day 🙂
Cost: £40 p/p – required in advance to secure your booking (PayPal accepted as below).
If you don’t have PayPal and wish to attend please just let me know.
