Inchcailloch is part of the Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve and is a wonderful place to visit during the bluebell season. Each spring, the island is carpeted with bluebells, creating a wonderful backdrop and photographic opportunities.

There are three main paths around and through the island. On a nice day, it would be easy to spend two hours with your camera.

There is a ferry that leaves from Balmaha and takes a couple of minutes to reach the island. Last year, the price of the ferry was £5 per person for a return journey. It may have increased but I wouldn’t image by a lot. Each person would pay for this on the day.

This is a great opportunity to take your time, learn some new photography techniques from others and have a nice relaxing day on Loch Lomond.

There is no charge for the Meetup, only for the ferry crossing.
